Exceptional care you deserve for the outcome you desire.

    about me

    My Biography

Jen graduated from the University of MD at Baltimore with her Masters in Physical Therapy in 2001. She has had a variety of work experiences in outpatient orthopedics, pediatrics, and inpatient rehabilitation. Jen has expanded her clinical skills through continuing education throughout her career, which has been driven by her desire to be an exceptional clinician able to treat a diverse patient population.

She became a certified integrated manual therapist in 2005, helping her to better diagnose dysfunctions from a whole-body approach.

She has attended numerous courses on gait biomechanics and balance training, as well as vestibular rehabilitation to treat vertigo and vestibular dysfunctions affecting activities of daily life. Jen became a certified ergonomic assessment specialist in 2007, which she uses in both corporate and clinical settings. Her most recent interest is mastering dry needling treatment techniques after hearing and experiencing the wonderful benefits this treatment can add to restoring normal motor functions and decreasing pain.

Jen feels blessed to say she honestly loves her career! She loves the challenge of discovering the source of each individual’s pain and designing a personalized treatment plan aimed to restore normal function and achieve one’s specific goals. Successful rehabilitation cannot be achieved using one set protocol. One of her biggest joys is seeing patients, who previously lost hope with unsuccessful treatment, return with a smile on their face after successes with more individualized care.

Jen lives in Winston Salem with her husband and twin boys. She speaks English and Spanish. She loves playing all types of sports with her boys, hiking, riding motorcycles, kayaking, traveling, dancing salsa with her husband, reading, playing piano, and knitting! Jen enjoys being involved in her church and loving on anyone God puts in her path.
