Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some common questions asked by our patients.

If you do not see what you are looking for, please don't hesitate to contact us. It will be our pleasure to assist.

  • How long are your physical therapy sessions?
In order to provide comprehensive treatment, NBPT allots 60-minute sessions per client. The session length provides time to thoroughly evaluate the patient's symptoms, answer questions, get to know the client's needs, and provide as much one-on-one with the client as possible. 60-minute treatment sessions allow more to be accomplished in each visit, reducing the need for more frequent scheduling.
  • Does New Beginnings Physical Therapy accept insurance?
At the moment, New Beginnings Physical Therapy does not accept insurance. We would be considered Out-Of-Network in insurance terms. Out-of-network means we have not signed a contract with any insurance company, agreeing to their terms and limitations. This allows us to provide any treatment we feel is medically necessary without being influenced by contracts that determine which tools, treatments, or techniques will be covered. Patients are able to know the cost of their healthcare up front, without any unexpected expenses being added. The collection of co-pays and deductibles at clinics that are in-network very quickly add up with scheduling frequencies of often 2-3 times a week, as well as additional costs for services not covered. Many in-network providers rely on contractual agreements for scheduling and treatment lengths; they need to carry a high patient load to be able to make a profit with lower insurance reimbursement rates. These factors often lead to more frequent, shorter sessions. With one-on-one treatment sessions of 60 minutes, more can successfully be accomplished in fewer treatments, often saving you money.
  • What is a Superbill?
A Superbill is an itemized form that details services provided to a patient. A Superbill contains all the necessary information required to create a healthcare claim, and they can be submitted to insurances for reimbursement of out-of-network benefits. If your policy has out-of-network benefits, you may be reimbursed for part of the cost of your treatment. New Beginnings Physical Therapy, LLC provides Superbills that patients can submit to their insurance for reimbursement of out-of-network benefits.
